Hello Everyone!
This morning, Friday, November 29, 2024, 6:00 am MST. The Eagle has landed!
Reached a TD (“Total Depth”) of 15,712’ MD at 1:15 am MST this morning (made 376’ in 7½ hours at a P rate of 50 fph).
We found a geological marker below the bottom of the Shannon 5 sand and called it good!
We had a gas flare and gas-cut mud all the way through the Shannon 5.
For whatever reason, this was different (in a good way) from the original hole and the sidetrack.
Current plans are:- Circulate and condition mud to log
- POOH and run open hole logs.
Should be logging some time tonight.
Today is video day!
We had a lot going on yesterday. Here are five videos

2024 11 28 Thanksgiving on Rig 88
Lot’s to be thankful and grateful for here. Everyone really appreciated the meal.
One of the hands in the video remarked,
“I have not been home for Thanksgiving for the past 10 years. This is the best gathering and food I’ve had! Thank you, Lost Soldier!”

Marc Bruner and Dr. Mike (Lead Mudlogger)
In this video, Marc Bruner and Dr. Mike Seidensticker, Lead Mud Logger, discuss the well and future field development.
As we call him, Dr. Mike thoroughly enjoys what he does and is very interested in this prospect.

2024 11 28 Rig 88 Gas Flare Trip Gas Shannon 2 & 3 Duane Winkler
Duane and Jacek both took videos of the bottoms up trip gas after we got back to the bottom.
This shows that there is “burnable” gas in the Shannon 2 and 3 sands! Both videos are good!

2024 11 29 Drilling the Shannon 5 !!
We had a slow, steady flare yesterday while drilling the entire Shannon 5 section.
Though not as impressive as the big flares from the previous videos, the Shannon 5 flare lasted for a steady 3 to 4 hours!
This is good! The trip gas flares only lasted 15 to 20 minutes.
A few days ago, we also had an unexpected visitor to the rig floor (see attachments).
This guy had made it up all 50+ steps to the doghouse on the floor.
He definitely surprised everyone!
