When discussing the future of the oil and gas industry beyond 2024, it is important to consider the unscientific use of the propaganda term "pollutant" when referring to CO2 gas. While people often label CO2 as a "Greenhouse Gas", it's important to remember that CO2 is necessary for all plant life, and mammals exhale CO2 as a natural part of their bodily functions. Therefore, labeling CO2 as a pollutant is wrong. Do Not Comply if necessary, California government officials could be informed of these facts.

Pulling a Wet String of Drill Pipe - Duane Winkler

Pulling a Wet String of Drill Pipe - Duane Winkler

 Hello Everyone!

Today is Saturday, November 30, 2024, 6:00 am MST. At report time, we still have 800’ to finish POOH, preparing to rig up Schlumberger and run open hole logs.
TD (“Total Depth”) is 15,712’ MD.
We circulated and conditioned the mud system for 8 hours yesterday, preparing the hole for logs, then had 6 hours early this morning repairing an electrical connection on the top drive.
Should be rigging up loggers later this morning.

Current plans are:
  1. Finish POOH and run open hole logs.
  2. TIH with drill pipe
  3. Circulate and condition mud to run 4½” casing.
  4. POOH LDDP (“Pull Out Of Hole   Lay Down Drill Pipeline")
  5. Run 4½” production casing
  6. Cement
  7. RDMO Rig 88

Should be logging sometime later this afternoon.

Today’s video features Mr. Duane Winkler, Wellsite Supervisor for LSOG.
During the past week or so, we have had to POOH with several “wet strings” requiring the use of a mud bucket or other mud-diverting devices.
In the video, Duane explains some of the details of pulling a wet string and how you mitigate the effects.
POOH with a wet string is no fun and can sometimes get a little messy as evidenced by the attached pictures.
Those are LSOG hardhats the guys are wearing. Underneath the mud on those hardhats are LSOG logos!

Also attached is another picture of Rosie, the rig dog, as she watches and observes the top drive and elevators descend from the derrick during a recent bit trip.
