2024 11 16 Cementing 7” Intermediate Casing - Ben Hadden

 Hello Everyone!

 

This morning, Saturday, November 16, 2024, 6:00 am MST; We have successfully cemented the 7” intermediate casing at 12,670’!

Currently, we are ND (“Nipple Down”) the 5,000 psi BOP stack and NU (“Nipple Up”) the 10,000 psi BOP stack.

When completed, we will test as per BLM regulations.

 

Current plans are:

(1.) Test as per BLM regulations,

(2.) TIH with 6 1/8” bit and BHA,

(3.) Drill out cement, float joint and 10’ of new hole,

(4.) Conduct FIT (“Formation Integrity Test”),

(5.) Drill 6 1/8” hole to 15,600’ TVD !!

 

We have two videos today. The first video features Mr. Ben Hadden, Wellsite supervisor, explaining the details of the cementing operations we performed last night.

The second video actually shows the drilling and completion of a vertical gas well.

If you watch closely, it shows what actually happens when you run casing and pump cement.
